YOUR FEELINGS MATTER

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes,
it is a tree of life

Jennifer Conduff

Speaker

Hi there!

Nice to meet you! My name is Jennifer and I like to go by "Jen".  I am a native Oklahoman. I have three amazing adult kiddos and now little fur babies! I live in Tulsa and am a member of a local church. I volunteer on a Prayer Team and help elderly people in need.

In my youth, I went through a lot of tough situations. I decided to start sharing my personal stories of overcoming.  I was invited to a Behavioral Health program that facilitated at-risk youth. I had not shared in front of a large crowd before. I remember being nervous and hoping people would not judge me based on what I had done in my past and on what I had overcome. Thankfully, I had an amazing response afterward that brought much peace and set me on course to continue encouraging others.

I have been blessed with experience as a Lead Crisis Counselor, Prayer Partner, Site Coordinator, Police Dispatcher, Director of a Nonprofit, and more.  I enjoy sharing about the challenges I overcame and the significant lessons learned.

Often, I wonder why I had to endure challenges in my life. I regret sometimes the mistakes I made that delayed my development and the impact I made on others. As I read through my earlier writings in journals, I see how far I have come, and I try to inspire others to write in journals.

I believe there is hope for EVERYONE. I share my testimonies to help others overcome and encourage them during challenges. Several people came up to me after my presentations and hugged me. I have people who contact me telling me that my story inspired them.

I hope to inspire you and those who are important to you!

Enrichment activities offered

journaling

Journaling helped me to capture my emotions and get them out. When a trusted friend, counselor or prayer partner isn't available, I write in my journal, and it gives me a sense of relief.  Later, I can look back and see how far I have come since that time and I am often encouraged.

Bringing journals to my audience is something I love to do. I like to write a nice message in the journal to inspire them and let them know I believe in them. Businesses, Donors and sponsors may contribute, and I can include a logo on the journal with a message.
